Arts & Crafts Schedule

Entry Fee: £1 per class
Prize cards will be awarded up to 3rd place.
Prize money:1st £3, 2nd £2, 3rd £1

Classes

HANDICRAFTS

  1. An embroidered or hand sewn item
  2. A knitted or crochet item for a baby or toddler with a farmyard theme
  3. A photo of local wildlife with a caption
  4. A handmade greetings card
  5. A patchwork or quilted item
  6. Any hand crafted item not eligible for classes 1-5

CONFECTIONERY

  1. A Victoria Sandwich made to ONE 4oz recipe:
    • 4oz Self Raising Flour
    • 4oz Butter or Margarine
    • 4oz Caster Sugar
    • 2 Medium Eggs
    • Raspberry Jam for filling
  2. Four decorated cupcakes to celebrate Bury Show’s 75th Anniversary
  3. Any savoury pastry
  4. A sweet preserve
  5. A savoury chutney
  6. Four sultana scones
  7. A celebration cake decorated to celebrate our 75th anniversary
  8. Any loaf of bread NOT made in a bread maker
  9. A homemade wine or alcoholic beverage

HORTICULTURE

  1. A planted patio display using recycled item/s
  2. A flowering house plant
  3. A foliage houseplant
  4. A planted herb pot
  5. A small floral display to celebrate the 75th Anniversary
  6. Any three types of roses
